The roller crushers break up the grapes slightly to release the juice and facilitate the vinification process. They fit under the PELLENC PERA ŒNOPROCESS destemmers.

Roller crushers

The specific shape of the roller lobes means PERA crushers can be used with destemmed or whole grapes.
Each model has been designed with a strong, stainless steel chassis and polyurethane rollers which adapt to the flow rate to be handled, with adjustable spacing for any type of vinification.
The advantages of PERA crushers are:

  • Hardy: made of stainless steel
  • Easier maintenance: driven by Ertalon pinions
Extractiv’2 crusher

This new crushing concept allows optimum opening of the berries based on their maturity, resulting in better extraction of juices, polyphenols, and aromatic compounds. Flow rates of up to 25 metric tons/hour.
